They say a picture is worth a thousand words...

Many of us hear the word "graphic" and think of logos or clip art. What about graphics or illustrations that will communicate your message more effectively?

If you have a special presentation approaching, think about ways in which your message might be more clearly communicated using a graphic, along with your written or verbal presentation. Take into account all adult learning styles; there are visual learners, auditory learners, kinesthetic and tactile learners. Have you incorporated ways to reach them all?

You may have a complicated process you are training on, a group you are facilitating, or a solution or service you are trying to sell. Consider whether a custom graphic would be useful in presenting that material. Will it increase your audience's understanding or make your proposal more effective? If so, it might be worth pursuing!

Draw the illustration out on paper, if possible ,and take it to your graphic artist. Most graphic artists will do custom illustrations in addition to Brand Identity, Advertising Layout and other print design.
